Electric vehicles offer the potential to dramatically reduce local air pollution, climate change impacts, and oil use from the transport sector. In the past few years, electric vehicles are a fast-growing part of the vehicle market.
But the lack of charging infrastructure still presents a barrier to growth in the electric vehicle market. The implementation of a charging infrastructure network is the necessary prerequisite for the diffusion of Electric Vehicles.
In this project, we are designing a controlled, reliable, efficient, and low-cost AC level 2 electric vehicle charger, which will of-course encourage the use of EVs in the local market.
The following are the key objectives of our project Design and Development of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger
1. Production of a low-cost EV charger
2. Expanding the knowledge and awareness about Electric Vehicle charging stations
2. Spreading the field of electric cars
3. Contribute to climate change prevention
4. Adding a new business dimension to the automobile industry
The development of the EV charger is being carried as follows:
Phase 1: Initialization, literature review, and breakdown of ideas
Phase 2: Listing the definitions and starting a design, and creating the simulation
Phase 3: Implementing the idea and creation of hardware based on tested simulations.
Phase 4. Follow up and finalizing the project with final deliverables; hardware and a final project report.
The demand for EVs in Pakistan is increasing and the efficient and low-cost EV charger being developed will provide an opportunity for local players to implement EV charging stations in Pakistan.
The project has the following advantages:

3. Complete solution to the emerging local EV market
