Project Summary

As we know the usage of modern technology is increasing in whole world day by day. Pakistan is still behind from many countries in technology. Pakistan is amongst the best wedding destinations in the world without any doubt. So, with the use of technology, we are designing a mobile application which will make easier for the people of Pakistan to book venues for their function or party. Specifically, as a function of mobility, the m-commerce has outperformed in economic growth. This is primarily because of the strength of mobility and integration with the existing systems. Many Mobile applications like Careem, Uber, Daraz, Zameen, Mobile banking, etc. are the loud evidence of the said claim.  Likewise, the commercial venues for every event like marriage, small or large scale gathering, etc. are also a big market that demands to be digitalized like real state, bank, and restaurant.  In this project, a novel product of mobile application-based venue booking and appointment app is proposed. In this project, a common e-marketplace for both venue owner and the client will be devised for the establishment of a competitive market.

The output of taking such initiatives will not only benefit our surroundings but it will also give benefits to Pakistan socially and economically in the form of new startup.

Project Objectives

1. It is used to facilitate the people through an application where they can book the venues or any categories related to event within minutes.
2. Designing of User Interface.
3. Collecting of Venues, Caterers, Photographers and Decorators Data.
4. The Application will be integrated with the information of local Venues and their services. 

Project Implementation Method

We take a structured approach to design a mobile application. Our development process has been created to ensure every feature is delivered on-time.

• Initial Planning / Gathering Requirements

The first order of our project is to sit down and create a detailed set of design and technical specifications. These specifications serve as a roadmap for the rest of the mobile application process.

• Wireframing

Wireframes are our first chance to visualize our application. While they’re not nearly as detailed as the final application will be, they give us a visual representation of the application overall layout.

• Mockups / Prototype

Once all wireframes are completed and approved, we’ll proceed with application mockups. These add color and a bit more detail to the initial wireframes, giving us a stronger visual representation of the final product.

• Copy & Graphics

Once we’ve agreed on a final design based on the mockups, we will proceed with development.

• Development

At the same time, we’ll kick off the technical side of the mobile application process.

• Testing

Once we finished our work regarding design and developing, we will get to work testing our application performance and reliability. We’ll use various tools to benchmark our application for loading, responsiveness, and speed, while also ensuring that it works reliably on all web browsers and mobile devices.

• Deployment & Optimization

Once we’re sure that our application is ready to be released to the public, we’ll deploy it on our public domain.

Benefits of the Project

Basically, we are designing and developing a mobile Application, which will be beneficial for both users and Vendors.

Benefits for Vendors:

Each Vendor will be able to represent their work. People don’t go far away to book any category they always look near to their house so many vendors don’t get any booking. So, through application vendor can show their work to the user and get a chance of booking and another benefit vendor get will they will have automatic booking they don’t need to do manually.

Benefits for Users:

As we know event days are very special for everyone and no one want to waste their time in finding good halls, decorators, caterers and photographer. Through this application user can book any of the category within a minute of what they actually want.

Benefits for Pakistan:

Pakistan is amongst the best wedding destinations in the world without any doubt. This Application takes care of people of Pakistan ideas, approaches and complications that they have to face before and on their event day.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Deliverable1 : User Mobile Application

For the development of mobile application we will use react native and for database purpose we will use firebase database. The User application will have following features

1. 1. Login, Signup and Forgot Password (Authentication)
   2. Integration of all the categories in dashboard
   3. Search for category data
   4. Add to Wishlist
   5. Integration with all the categories
   6. Booking of category
   7. Rating and reviews

Deliverable2 : Vendor Mobile Application

For the development of mobile application we will use react native and for database purpose we will use firebase database. The Vendor application will have following features.

1. 1. Login, Signup and Forgot Password (Authentication)
   2. View and confirm orders.
   3. Update Availability of venues, caterers, photographers and decorators.

Deliverable3 : Admin Web Portal

For the development of web portal for admin we will use php and bootstrap and for database purpose we will use firebase database. The web portal will have following features:

1. 1. Login (Authentication)
   2. Add/View/update/delete users.
   3. Add/View/update/delete vendors.
   4. Add/View/update/delete photographers.
   5. Add/View/update/delete caterers.
   6. Add/View/update/delete decorators.
   7. Add/View/update/delete venues.
   8. View/confirm bookings.
