Nowadays, supermarkets are almost developed with many technological advancements. People purchase different items from the supermarkets and put them into a trolley because it is the easiest method used in supermarkets to carry goods. However, throughout the whole process of shopping, customer must push the heavy weight of the trolley manually by their own effort. To overcome this problem, we are introducing a new idea called Customer following trolley for shopping mallsWith the use of this  trolley, customers can enjoy their shopping and pay more attention on their shopping list without the need of pushing shopping trolley. It will follows the customer throughout the shopping period leaving a certain distance.If the customer will stop then the trolley will also stop at maintained distance by using sharp IR sensor.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method       Hardware implementation

This section describes how we implement the different component of project and how we interface them together.
 

Implementation of Pixy Cam:-

The component that we use as the sensor is the pixy cam 5 .First we will save a specific color in it by interfacing it with computer through a software Pixy Mon. We place the specific color in front of it and after this we will save in it. After it we will interface it with the Arduino mega 2560.

 Implementation of Arduino Mega 2560:-

The central brain of this project is the Arduino mega 2560.Through which we interface our different components and it also control the entire component. First we interface controller with computer through the software name as “Arduino IDE”, and we burn our code in it.
After this we interface the different component with it.

 Implementation of Motor Driver:-

The L298N motor controller follows the H-bridge configuration, which is handy when controlling the direction of rotation of a DC motor.

Implementation of Motors:-

For the movement of trolley along with the weight of luggage and the circuitry we use two DC gear motors having rating of 96 Watt. As these motors are connected with the motor driver so they will get the information signal from the driver and move according to given direction .The speed of these are control by the driver.

Implementation of Battery:-

As our trolley is electrical machine so it required an electric supply for work, for this purpose we use 12V battery that give supply to the circuit .
