Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummarySo this project is based on such kind of IoT devices which are connected with internet ISP router user can access his IoT appliances in his home, office or anywhere in the world Through the internet, internet have a registration server that register the IoT devices one who wants to access his IoT devices he should have communicate with registration server present in the internet.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective for this project is to make our home office and town smart we can access our smart home office and town appliances smartly and easily.
If we are not physically present in our home office and town even though we can access our device with the help of IoT.
All the devices have been connected with the internet backbone and cell tower.This means that even though we are connected with home or office router but we can easily reach at the desired appliances with the help of cell tower.
In this thesis, we made a study on the solutionscurrently available for the implementation of urbanIoTs. The discussed technologies are close to beingstandardized, and industry players are alreadyactive in the production of devices that takeadvantage of these technologies to enable theapplications of interest. In fact, while the range ofdesign options for IoT systems is rather wide, theset of open and standardized protocols issignificantly smaller. The enabling technologies,furthermore, have reached a level of maturity that allows for the practical realization of IoT solutionsand services, starting from field trials that willhopefully help clear the uncertainty that stillprevents a massive adoption of the IoT paradigm.A concrete proof-f-oncept implementation,deployed in collaboration with the city of Padova,Italy, has also been described as a relevant exampleof application of the IoT paradigm to smart home office & city.
Benefits of the ProjectHowever, it’s not always a one-ay street. Depending on the IoT application, the user may also be able to perform an action and affect the system. For example, the user might remotely adjust the temperature in the cold storage via an app on their phone.
And some actions are performed automatically. Rather than waiting for you to adjust the temperature, the system could do it automatically via predefined rules. And rather than just call you to alert you of an intruder, the IoT system could also automatically notify relevant authorities.•BetterQualityofLife
