The proposal describes about the smart room environment based on context awareness techniques to minimize the human interaction from the switches. The Smart room environment architecture controls the environment on user preferences by using dynamic smart environmental techniques. The smart environment emphases the smart room environment by using various sensors technologies smart camera and IOT based techniques.
As a person gets home after a long day work he/she needs to relax the main objective of this project is to make the room work by judging the requirement of the human body. As the human enters the room the lights gets automatically on after judging the sitting position of the human the nearest light remains on while the other gets off. As the heat sensors gets the temperature of the body and switch on the Air Conditioner and sets it to such a temperature where the room gets cold as per the body requirements.
This project will be implemented using different types of sensors (i.e Motion sensor, Heat sensor, Camera sensor)which will be applied on different parts of the room to judge the requirements of the body. the posture detection is judge by the camera sensor which will help most of the things to make work according to the context provided. Raspberry pi 4 will be used to connect all these sensors.
The benifits of this process is that in future this project can help in making the city smarter and energy efficient by using these types of systems in Commercial and Residential area. This project is expected to help each and every sector of the human being.
In the presented case, multiple sensing, processing and actuation units have been developed and deployed. The room’s state is continuously monitored and either manually, remotely, or even through automatic processes, decisions are made to control the room lights, cooling, heating, and projector operation. For example, when a meeting is scheduled, the lights and the projector turn on automatically.
We determine the key factors affecting the building energy consumption with respect to the meeting assignment, and develop an energy savings model. Using this model, we show how meeting room, meeting schedule, and weather related parameters affect the energy savings potential of smart meeting scheduling.
The duties of such an agent may range across interactive problem solving with other agents in the environment, developing automated summaries of meetings, visualization of the internal decision making process, proactive data and resource management, and so on.
