Project Objectives

City Medical Emergency Facilitator (CMEF) is a dynamic web application. It provides the users specific information about hospitals and also provides online appointment facility. Information about hospitals like hospital name with exact location, how many departments operates in hospital, details of the doctors (which doctor serving in which department), doctor schedule, fee structure, and online appointment facility (with complete details of the doctor appointments schedule). It can solve the problem of taking appointment earlier and the user can get all the information sitting at home which he will have to get by reading at the hospital and make a decision according to the information he has. The user gets information about hospitals and takes online appointments in just one click from his/her smart devices from anywhere

Project Implementation Method

CMEF is an on-line web-based application. In this project we will be using Bootstrap and cascading style sheet (CSS) for designing. Hyper Text Preprocessor (PHP), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Java-script and J-Query use as a programming tools for coding. Adobe Photoshop use for graphics. Cross-Platform (X), Apache (A), Maria DB (M), PHP (P) and Perl (P) (XAMPP) use to store data in database. Its help users in un-availability of time and resources.

Benefits of the Project

CMEF provide services to all over Karachi. Every individual person will be able to use it and get benefits. It provides the specific information of the hospitals and also provides online appointment facility from anywhere, it’s not necessary to go to the hospital and take appointment time from the doctor. At this level, CMEF provides specific information about some of the hospitals located in Karachi but in future CMEF will extend in the whole city, province, and country level. CMEF reduces the time and resources of its users.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

If hotels, parks and cafe’s, can be indicated for refreshment purposes, then why not for hospitals for healing purposes. In case of emergency the patient often dies because of no relevant information is available about the hospitals nearby thus our application will can save a life, if anyone lives far away from any particular hospital, in the time of emergency this application will be very beneficial, through CMEF they can search the information about concern hospital departments, particular doctor schedule, and online appointment facility.  In future call centers for hospitals can be established for making every process online through appointments procedures. Good health and well-being for people.
