CASHIER LESS SYSTEM
This project is based on Cashier Less Store where customers entering the Store scans the QR Code of the app which is logged in on their phones. The ID is then linked with the Screen attached. They will scan the products and add them to cart. When they are finished shopping, they will enter the credit card details and checkout directly from their cart. They do not have to wait in lines for their turn to get billed.
The objective of this project is to design and develop Cashier Less Shopping Cart, capable along with the extensive ability to avoid obstacles customers face by standing in lines.
This makes it time efficient as multiple users will checkout at the same time and store will be able to cater more customers.
This project is made using Flutter as FrontEnd and .NET as backend. API's are being generated through .NET which is linked with MS SQL Database at Backend.
When the user enters the store he/she scans the QR Code from the app which is then linked with Application on Screen which is attached with trolley. After the QR Code is scanned, the user picks up a product from shelf and scans the Barcode through the Barcode Scanner attached with trolley. Upon scanning the barcode the product is inserted into the cart and the checkout price is updated. The checkout price is updated after every insertion or removing of products from cart. When the user finishes his/her shopping, they are proceeded to checkout page upon proceeding to checkout. The user then enters the credit card details for checkout. Upon checkout the RFID attached to the product is deactivated and the user is allowed to take the products and the receipt of user is emailed to his registered email address.
This project benefits both the store owners and the user. We have seen people standing and waiting for hours in Pakistan's top stores to get them billed. The Cashier's at the other end are also working slow which is hassle for both store's and customer since Customer needs to wait for his turn and store needs to bill more and more customers on a fast term.
This is where the Cashier Less System benefits both the Store's and Customers as Customers no longer have to stand in line waiting for hours for their turn and store's can cater more and more customers easily. There will also be cost effective for store's as they won't be paying for Cashiers now. They will be automated.
The final product will be Cart attached with Screen and Barcode Scanner and Application which will be made on Flutter. The backend of the application is designed with .NET and API's are generated through which the data will be flowing in and out of the database.
