We live in a digital age in which new technologies emerge every day, and as a result, it only takes human effort to get things done and life is generally easier. Although the vehicle number identification system is regularly written on paper .There has always been a need to identify vehicles by their plate number in a real environment and use the information in real-life applications .The growing wealth of modern life has increased the number of vehicles on the road. This causes vehicle identification problems.

That’s why we are going to develop a website that will track the number plate of Cars (Car Number Plates Tracking System). When the vehicle is passed in front of the camera (deputed at different locations like check posts etc.) the camera will identify the number plate of car and tells that this car is registered on the name of this person. Suppose a man’s car is stolen, he simply enters the information of the car (Engine No,   and Registration No) on our website. Now we will scan the car number where our system it seems. Suppose there is a lot of space in Lahore, when the car will pass in front, the alarm will be sounded, it will start ringing and it will be found out that the car has been stolen.

Project Objectives

1)-Vehicles are stolen day after day without any result - these thieves do their business freely and with confidence knowing that they may never be caught because proper systems have not been put in place.

2)-With the increase in the number of automobiles, it has become increasingly challenging to track them and almost impossible to identify the owners of these vehicles in case of violation of any traffic law.

3) - Several cases of kidnapping, hit and run, robbery, smuggling, are continuously reported, and this is because these vehicles cannot be easily recognized especially moving at high speed. Because of this there is a need to develop a system that can deal with these issues.

Project Implementation Method

1.Login & Registration:

First of All users register themselves in the app by using a valid email or phone number. User must verify their email or phone no by using OTP otherwise they will not proceed further.

Users can forget passwords and   log out at any time.

1. User Profile:

User will enter the details of the car. Details of car includes Engine No, Chassis No, and Number Plate.

• User Can Easily Trace The Vehicle:

         After successful registration, user get information about their vehicle

2. Location Trace

If   the user wants to get full details of his vehicle. Such as vehicle name, model number, company name, vehicle description and vehicle photos etc.

• Search a Car:

The user will be given a search option using the website. The vehicle number to be entered must be the vehicle model.

Benefits of the Project

It can be very difficult to take a picture of a moving vehicle in real time in such a way that the number plate of the vehicle is known. Existing systems reviewed above have used a number of means to obtain plate number systems. Most of them successfully captured the number plates of speeding vehicles. The closest to this task, which uses Open CV with python, was able to detect the plate number but did not include a database system to identify the culprit. Our proposed solution would be a new system that uses existing Open CV code, written in Python but will include a web page that will display the result of the saved plate number. The proposed system identifies the number plate of the moving vehicle. The proposed system identifies the moving vehicle when the user enters the vehicle information on the website that my vehicle will be stolen.
