Car Theft Protection

The main purpose of our project  is to prevent the vehicle theft and the functionality is achieved by detecting vehicle status in theft mode and by sending an SMS is generated automatically.

Project Summary

The main purpose of our project  is to prevent the vehicle theft and the functionality is achieved by detecting vehicle status in theft mode and by sending an SMS is generated automatically.

Project Objectives

  • To decrease the rate of stolen cars.
  • To save the money of owners without paying to 3rd parties.
  • To reduce the crime rate.

Project Implementation Method

  • System is directly connected to car’s battery with no switch.
  • Thief enters in the car and uses key to start the engine.
  • When the engine will start it responds the Arduino.
  • Arduino activates GPS and GSM.
  • GSM and GPS sends information to user through SMS.
  • User operate through Android Application and send decision again to GPS and GSM module and they send response to Arduino.
  • Through Arduino the user is able to stop the vehicle permanently.

Benefits of the Project

The main benefit of this project is that it secures owner’s car. As we know now a day’s cars are much more expensive than before and technology is making progress in cars. Latest features are inventing every day. So, the security also necessary component in cars. Our security system helps owner to protect his car in two-way security that would be very helpful to them.
