Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryAs the world is in the age of digital technology so the problem should have to be solved by using the technology. People are facing many problems in the restaurant while ordering their desired food by standing in queues they get exhaust cause of waiting and restaurant team and manager have to face some problem too e.g. collection of money for many orders at the same time which causes unmaintained data shows many mistakes while making income sheet.
On focusing above problem we decided to develop an Android-based mobile application for both the customer and the restaurant. The objective of our project is to order food online which will destroy the long queue system in a restaurant, payment for the order will also be paid online which is an efficient way of getting the amount for the order, it will also maintain the calculation of order placed and delivered and automatically generate a sheet for the admin.
The project will have an attractive user interface and will be easy to use. The users first have to create an account for the registration and then will be able to log in, the user can easily select the order from the E-Menu card and can also delete the selected order and after the selection, the user can review the selected order and confirm the order and then customer has to provide the details for online payment and can also view the order configuration.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of the project are as follows
1.TO ORDER FOOD RAPIDLY
The main objective of the project to provide a every possible way of comfortable and provide them services as quick as can be, as customer don’t want to wait for too long to order their desired food, mostly restaurants have big crowed at the time of lunch and dinner so this project can be useful for both the customer and the restaurant.
2. TO MAKE IT CONVENIENT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LESS TIME
Mostly people have less time or they just have lunch time break which is also their rest time but waiting in queue to order food take their time and they can’t even rest.
3.COST REDUCTION
The main purpose for the restaurant is to earn more by using this project they can earn more, they can get more users and more users will provide them more income. The daily base customer and the most user will also get some discount and offers too.
4. REDUCED PAPER WORK
As this project is working online for both the customer and the restaurant then paper work will be reduced and the data and all desired information will be saved in the data based and all the calculation will be done automatically.
5.COMPUTERIZED ORDER AND BILLING SYSTEM
All the bills and payment method will be done online and the order will also be placed online which is the core objective of our system
Project Implementation MethodWe are creating a system in which you can order food by canteen without wasting time. A system that contains all the food items. In this, you can also give food reviews. This whole system will be a user-friendly interface for the public.
