Project Summary

The main aim of this project is to save lives of people by providing blood. We will provide security for authenticated user as new user have to register according to their type of perspective and existing user have to login. By developing this App, we will provide blood to the people who are in dire need of blood. Using this Application, user can search blood donor by providing required blood group and he/she can also send blood donation request to the donor and also can see location of that donor. Using this system, people can register himself/herself who want to donate blood or get blood. To register in the system, they have to provide their contact information such as address, name, email and mobile number etc. This system will be available on internet so it is easily available to everyone.

When a person wants to donate blood, he has to register to the system. Donor registration is very easy, to get register to the system, he/she will have to fill up the registration form. Donor have to give information like blood group, contact details etc. Donor can also change his account information when he wants using his username and password. Using this blood bank system people can search blood group available which they are needed. Every user has their own profile where he/she can see their information also can maintain blood donation record which is help full to donate next time.

Project Objectives

The main objective of this project is to automate the complete operation of the blood community on phone. Common people can search blood donor from anywhere and can contact people and ask for help in case of emergency.

The main objective of our design application is to save human life. Many people especially in case of emergency cause to death due to absence of required blood.

• Donation Record

Donor can make record of their donation. Which will help to donate next time.

• To create awareness and motivate people for Blood Donation. Starting from Colleges, we are now moving towards the Corporate Sector, Residential Areas.
• To help anyone, in case of any requirement for blood.

To end the concept of replacement donation by ensuring continuous supply of blood through Voluntary Blood Donation in Government blood banks

Project Implementation Method

In this project the following solution is given

• We will provide a better platform for the user to view the nearest blood donor, hospitals, and blood banks anywhere any time.
• GPS will help blood seekers to find hospitals, blood donors and blood bank nearer the location form where the request for the blood is generated.
• The very friendly design will lead the user to every module very easily without any difficulty.
• The User can check the synchronized data in case of no internet connection and also view the overall blood request and delete the request he/she made.
• The Software and Languages are used in making this project are: Android Studio, Java Development kit, PHP, MySQL, SQLite, Microsoft word for documentation.

2. While donated blood is beneficial for people in need, some medical professionals maintain that donating blood also benefits the donor.
3. Blood donation not only makes the receiver’s life good but also helps the donor to maintain good health. The health benefits of donating blood are mentioned below.
4. Blood donation helps in lowering the risk of cancer. By donating blood the iron stores in the body are maintained at healthy levels. A reduction in the iron level in the body is linked with low cancer risk.
5. Regular blood donation reduces the weight of the donors. This is helpful to those who are obese and are at higher risk of cardiovascular diseases and other health disorders. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will develop blood-donor web application known as Blood Community application. This will  comprise of java (core java mostly) along with JavaScript and the entire code written in java] and XML and C and C++ and PostgreSQL for database will be used. We will provide a better platform for the user to view the nearest blood donor, hospitals, and blood banks anywhere any time. GPS will help blood seekers to find hospitals, blood donors and blood bank nearer the location form where the request for the blood is generated.
