Project Summary

• As a digital asset class, Non-Fungible Token (NFTs) have some interesting capabilities that no other digital asset can match. Blockchain-based digital assets are unmodifiable, everlasting, unique, and decentralized. Proof of ownership and transfer records, all exist as a public ledger on the blockchain.

• With the massive Metaverse development push from companies like Meta, we will likely see massive growth in technology in the near future. With a single NFT being sold for as high as $69 million. NFTs are already attracting millions of users and investors.

• Trading in NFTs spiked 21,000% to more than $17 billion in 2021 according to reports. Trading in nonfungible tokens hit $17.6 billion last year, an increase of 21,000% from 2020.

Our Proposed Solution is a

Ethereum Blockchain based Decentralized Web Application For Dog NFTs which provides a solution for the following:

Ownership: Because of the blockchain, the owner of NFT can easily prove the right of possession by his/her keys. Other nodes can verify the user's ownership publicly.

Transferable: Users can freely transfer NFTs ownership to others on specific markets or directly accessing their smart contract associated with he NFT.

Transparency: By using blockchain, all transactions are transparent, and every node in the network can confirm and trace the trades.

Fraud Prevention: Fraud is one of the key problems in trading assets; hence, using NFTs ensures buyers buy a non-counterfeit item.

Immutability: Metadata, token ID, and history of transactions of NFTs are recorded in a distributed ledger, and it is impossible to change the information of the purchased NFTs.

Project Objectives

To create a blockchain based decentralized application which include:

• Unmodifiable transaction records on the blockchain

• Owners have full control of their digital assets

• Ownership proof on the blockchain

• Digital asset information on the blockchain in the form of a smart contract

Complex dogs related NFTs involving Breeding of digital art dogs on the blockchain with every dog having a unique gene sequence. This will lead to:

• More profitability for the buyers as they can mint more NFTs by breeding previous generation NFTs

• NFT buyers will have a better experience as they will not only be buying these NFTs to hold them but enjoy the overall buying, breeding and selling experience.

The blockchain based decentralized application will feature:

• Unmodifiable transaction records on the blockchain

• Owners have full control of their digital assets

• Ownership proof on the blockchain

• Digital asset information on the blockchain in the form of a smart contract

Project Implementation Method

- Following Technologies will be used for the Frontend:

• REACT

• CSS

• JavaScript

• HTML5

- All smart contracts will be deployed to the Ethereum Blockchain and will be written in Solidity.

- Web3.js will be used to enable interaction between the blockchain, frontend and digital wallets.

- IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) storage will be used to store the NFT images.

- All traits and rarity of the traits of dogs will be defined

- ERC smart contracts for the NFTs

- Being Decentralized, the NFTs will be compatible with other blockchain based games and applications, to be used on them.

- Registration using Metamask digital crypto wallet.

- Breeding of digital art dogs along with the ability to sell the next generation dogs.

- View Owned NFTs

- Profile Information of sellers and buyers

- Compatibility to sell on any Ethereum Blockchain based third party NFT marketplace for profitability

Each dog NFT will have 11 features that make it unique including:

The Smart Contracts Will have the following functionality for Contract Admin:

- A feature that will keep track of the current owner.

- A mint functionality that will create the NFTs existence on the blockchain and enable it to be stored in a digital wallet.

- A supply count of the NFT

- Contract Deployment control
