Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe invention of this innovative technology in the domain of shopping is to make human life easier and make their shopping experience efficient and fast so they don’t need to stand on the check-out line and without wasting their time making them able to do their product billed by themselves and get their total paid purchase receipt and complete their shopping efficiently. The main equipment we used to design this innovative invention is the following, that is Raspberry Pi Model B Version 4, 2 RFID Modules with Electroplated Chip, card Tags and Tempered tags, Camera Detection, Payment Module, Touch Screen LCD, Printer, Load Cells, and Power Bank. Each trolley is attached to all of this main equipment. Every Individual product has electroplated chips and tempered tags so that when any of the customers are going to buy that particular product, they will use an RFID module through which these chips and tags get scanned and then they add this product to their trolley. When the product tags and chips got scanned, the RFID reader will send the details to Raspberry Pi to get the acknowledgment of this particular product's existence and then display the relevant information of the product along with its price. They also have a Camera detection option so when any of the products have defaulted tags and electroplate chips customers can use this to get their product details along with its price and their shopping won’t be affected or stopped and they don’t need to worry about their entire bill that has been added to the trolley and the device. Their shopping will still continue with the help of the camera detection feature provided by our design system. When the product got detected by the camera, the trained model will search for the matching of this product in the dataset that is trained over Raspberry pi.
Project ObjectivesAutonomous Trolley With Smart Billingobjective is to remove the cashier load as well as help to reduce the rush system and shorten the checkout lines which mostly consist of a long queue. Our System will facilitate the user to put their goods into the trolley and through the RFID module each good can be detected and shown in LCD with their prices all of these prices will going to be added and the complete bill will go to be generated. In case the user wants to remove any goods from their trolley the added prices will automatically be deducted from the total bill. After all, shopping is done the total bill will be shown on the LCD and the user just need to communicate with the billing counter wireless and into the built-in billing system of the trolley for payment which will be accounted at the main counter by the help of online banking transfer. So that’s how the shopping experience becomes faster and improved for the use
Project Implementation MethodOur implementation is based on three main modules, RFID RC522, External RFID, and Camera, for product scanning. They all are operated by the main component that is Raspberry Pi. The working of RFID both modules basically detects the product through electroplated, tempered, and card tags, and the product's information is shown onto the Touch screen LCD. The Camera detection module is also working in the same manner, it detects products with the help of a trained model and places that product information into the screen. Further, we have an online payment module through which our user can easily be done their shopping by choosing their desired mode of payment.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe deliverable of our product is the application on which the whole program is executed and enable all main module like RFID, External RFID, Camera module, Load Cell, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. All the electroplated, tempered, card tags and the trained model are also considered as a deliverable of our product
