Day by day technology is making the life easier by solving not only complex problems but also providing daily life solutions. A vehicle is machine which is used to carry anything either a person or object from one place to another, it is mean of transportation but has some limitations. But there comes a time when a driver continuously drives which causes fatigue and drowsiness, due to fatigue and drowsiness the driver loses attention and sometimes fall asleep in result accidents are caused.

We are proposing to develop system which will help prevent the accidents by alerting the driver before they get drowsy or get fatigued by continuous driving.

This system will continuously monitor the driver to check for drowsiness and fatigue, it will check the landmarks of driver’s face and check the time period of the driving and break intervals taken while driving, it will alert the driver in case of lost attention.

The project will be implemented using Python and Raspberry Pi 4.

Collecting Data: Different data sources will be collected and created.

Creating Training and Testing Sets: Collected data will be divided into training and testing sets which will be further processed and modeled

Processing and Creating Model: Training and Testing sets will be processed and model will be created.

Testing Model: Model will be tested and validated for the functionalities.

Finalizing: The model will be then deployed in Raspberry Pi.

This project will help prevent unwanted situations and accidents which not only cause destruction and injuries but in many cases becomes fatal to life.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Final deliverable will be a system which comprises of both hardware and software.

Hardware will contain Raspberry Pi along with buzzer and camera.

And software will contain all the logic and functionality of the system.
