It is one of the most important firm in business on how can the organization provide the right and accurate benefits for the employees of the organization. It deals with the financial component such as employee salary, allowance, deduction, gross pay, net pay and pay slip for a given time. It is easily maintaining and updateable. It generates the salary sheet and salary slips of all the employees and also generates various important reports which reduce the time and effort in the organization.
In every organization there are many employees and they had to pay them on time. So, to generate the pay slip of their employees and manage them is a time-consuming work which almost every organization wants to reduce as much as it possible. So, we are trying to develop such computerize and automate web application which can generate the payroll slip and other records of employee quickly and easily.

This “Pay Bill management system” is a web-based application software which will provide a user friendly interface to the admin of the pay bill cell at UETM to easily calculate salary of the employees, generates salary slip, cheque summary and other important reports as per the rules of the UETM. It will be used will be used by Pay bill cell employees of UETM. This system will be accessible from the PC offline.
Project ObjectivesThe main aim and objective of this project are
- To computerized and automate the existing pay bill operation to provide easy method to perform different operation in UET Mardan
- To prepare and generate the detailed salary record of all the employees in UETM.
- To generate the pay slip after the calculation of salary.
- To produce the reports according to the user defined format.
- To secure the payroll information and provide security.
- To provide a user-friendly management system that will calculate accurately the employee salary and deduction of the taxes etc.
- To notify the employee by email and send the salary slip by email.
The aim of “Pay Bill management system” is to automate the current manual system because the pay bill cell of UET Mardan is not fully computerized yet. Hence it is necessary to computerize and automate the pay bill cell at UETM to remove the struggle faced by the employee of the pay bill cell. This system will be designed for need of the university to carry out its operation in a smooth and effective manner

This “pay bill management system” will be only accessible to the pay bill cell administration. So, the admin first login to the system by using the authorized username and password. After successful authentication there is a dashboard which contain different modules like employee salary, allowances, deduction, reports and other.
Benefits of the ProjectEmployee Management
In this module the administrator adds a new employee detail into the system by providing employee id, name, designation, salary, email address and other. The software saves all these type of data into the backend database.
General Faculty
This section represent the staff (office worker or class 4) related data.
Facullty
In this section the teaching staff data is store which contain the regular, fixed pay and contract base faculty.
Salary
This module helps to calculate the salary by adding the allowances like House rent, conveyance allowance, Medical allowance, special allowance, Teaching allowance and other allowances and the basic salary and by deducting the deductions according to the institute rule. It also helps to generate the employee pay slip
Report
This module helps to generate the administrative reports like the Salary Report, Fixed pay report, contract based salary report and the Employee Report which can be exported to word, pdf.It generates the salary sheet and pay slips of all the employees and also generates various important reports which reduce the time and effort in the organization.
Search
The administrator will simply search the employee record by his unique employee id and generate the salary slip or make any changes in it
Allonwance and deduction
This section is used to store to all the allowances as the university requirement like house rent, chairman allowances, medical allowance, special allowance,teaching allowances and tax deduction etc.
This software will maintain the correct schedule of payroll and record. This system would be maintainable with changes, in future if we want to update some modules so our system would be able to accept those changes.
Our System would be scalable means in future if we want to extend system mean add a new department or allowances or deduction so our system would be scalable with those.
This system will be secure it will keep the employee’s data very secure and confidential. As only admin is allowed to access this system. They need a specific username and password to get access to the software. Anyone who wants to use this system shall have login username and password.
The performance of this system is very fast but its also depend of the computer performance. This system will generate report and calculate the salary etc very fast and an efficient way.
This system would be compatible with almost all PCs having any browser installed.
