This proposed project is about a car or other vehicle accident tracking devised system. The high demand for automobiles has also increased traffic hazards and road accidents. Life of the people is at high risk. The delay in reaching the ambulance to the accident location and the traffic congestion in between the accident location and the hospital increase the chances of death of the victim to overcome this problem our automatic ambulance rescue system comes to the rescue. This proposed IOT-based accident detection system helps to reduce the loss of life due to accidents and also reduces the time taken by the ambulance to reach the hospital. To detect the accident there is an accelerometer sensor present in this rescue system and the GSM module included sends messages about the location to the respective guardian and rescue team. With the help of the accelerometer sensor signal, a severe accident due to an obstacle can be recognized. The microcontroller used sends the alert message through the GSM module including the location to a guardian or a rescue team. So, the emergency help team can immediately trace the location through the GPS module, after receiving the accident location information, action can be taken immediately. This accelerometer-based accident detection system is powered by Atmega 328 microcontroller it consists of a display, accelerometer sensor, GSM module, and alarm. This automatic ambulance rescue system project is useful in detecting accidents.

Project Objectives

           This proposed system project is about a car and some other vehicle accident detection and rescue system which helps to protect the life of people during the accident. They help to track the accident vehicle location using a SIM mobile.
The main objective of this project is to detect the vehicle accident and transmit the location of the accident with the information of the victim and type of accident to the medical help center and police control room. So the medical help center and police control room will get the exact location by the geographical coordinates transmitted via message with the help of a map.

Project Implementation Method

This proposed IOT-based accident detection system helps to reduce the loss of life due to accidents and also reduces the time taken by the ambulance to reach the hospital. Methodology 

The accident detection and rescue information system for a vehicle, do track of routing vehicle to spot accidents in the defined location. This project is split into two sections one is a finding location using GPS. It will find the location in the form of longitude and latitude. The second is the detection of accidents through the various sensor and to spot accidents. If the vibration is more than the defined one it will consider that accident occurs and after 60 seconds it will confirm the accident. Later detect the accident and show the accident location on the app. The server informs the vehicle possessor and police station and hospital nearby the accident spot through a mobile application or SMS. The system module will be fixed in the vehicle. Authorized person can observe their automobile using the android application services. If the accident is occurred the alert notification of the accident place sent to nearest police station, Ambulance and hospital.

They help to track the accident vehicle location using a SIM mobile. On the user end, there is no need for a technical person as there are two interfaces for the user one through the proposed app and the other through the SIM. If the person is not technical then he will go SIM interface where he only needs to send a blank message to receive detail about the situation of accident detection and also send the information about the accident on the SIM.
