Audio Data Communication using Visible Light (VLC)
Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject SummaryVisible-light communication technology has a great scope in future. This technology
provided a solution to the problem of integrating Visible-light communication technology with present infrastructure, without having to make major changes to it. In the field
of communication it is a rapidly growing segment and it can be implemented easily
with reduced cost. The study gives light on how to analyze a VLC system using computer simulation and mathematical techniques. This analysis can be used to estimate the
parameters required for an efficient VLC system
- This hardware can help us to make the secure and the wireless communication
- This hardware can help us to communicate under water
- The proposed hardware will be helpful for the secret communication for the security agencies.
The Arduino and the led are the two main components of this hardware. The LED light transfer the data in the form of visible light and the receiver part will collect the data in the form of the visible light and then change this data into the audio form and as a result we will get the audio output with the help of the speaker via amplifier.
Benefits of the ProjectThe proposed hardware will help us in following ways:
- The System will send the data in the form of visible light
- The speed of the communication is very high
- The VLC technique is very secure and only specific person can receive the data
- The hardware model helps us to communicate under water and also in highly secured areas.
The hardware used in the implementation of this hardware are listed below.
- Arduino Uno R3
- I2c Module
- LCD
- Amplifier
- Receiving Module
- Transmitting Module
- Encoder and decoder
- Transmitting led or any other visible light source
- Power supply
- Diodes
- Capacitors
- Transistors
- Connecting wires
- Bridge Rectifier
