Project ObjectivesThe focus of the project is to add value to the global efforts to effectively fight deforestation and identify areas suitable for plantation that will help our society and government to plant effectively and efficiently.
Project Implementation MethodSystem will provide statistical analysis of a sector where plantation can be done.
Different factors will be extracted from the image like
- Vegetation part
- Soil
- Gravitational Slope
- Moisture/Humidity
- Temperature
Compartive study will also be provided along with a supporting website.
Benefits of the Project- It takes alot of man power to identify the areas where plants are to be planted. People keep planting trees in the same area, they have no idea where to plant without wasting resources.
- If people plant correctly it may help to reduce the alarming global warming and climate changes.
- Helps government in different plantation drives without wasting resources.
- The user will have full access to the system where images will be selected for processing and factors will dectected to provide statistical analysis.
- The viewer can register himself on the website in order to see the analysis.
