Agriculture which is basically the backbone of any developing country’s economy so information which is sharing intensive knowledge to the agriculture area is upgraded by mobile-based information services and speedy growth of mobile telephony. Various services of information are provided to farmers through the Mobile applications which are helpful in managing, controlling in farming and monitoring the farming.
Mobile Application is very useful and helpful for farmers to earn more with automated systems, increase their farming to yield more profit. This Project is about the disease detection in Spinach leafs. The particular disease which will be detected and identfied is named as 'Leaf Rot Spot'. We will develop an android application to detect the disease. The Data set of spinach with the classes (Infected, Healthy, Defected) is collected by us and we have prepared the data set for our project. Machine Learning techniques will be used to train the data set and test it. After that we will integrate our model with android application named 'ASAAN KISAN' to detect the disease in spinach leafs.
Project ObjectivesObjectives of our project are:
- To highlight the importance of mobile application in rural sector of country with Automation.
- To Design the dataset of Spinach (leaf rot spot) disease.
- To Detect the Disease in Spinach (Leaf rot Spot).
- To refer the concern authorities for cure of disease.
- To provide the information about the disease (Leaf Rot Spot) in spinach.
Project Will Be Implented as:
- Prototypes will be defined and designing will be done in Android studio.
- Data Set Will be Collected Manually by visiting the fields of Spinach.
- Data Set Will be trained by using python language.
- Machine learning models VGG19 or any other (if Suitable) will be used to train the data set and test it.
- The Model will be integrated in Android as tensorflow model tflite.
- The Detection will be done in android by using the model.
This agriculture application is very useful for farmers and agriculture community which keep them connected with digital world. This application provides help to farmers and fill the information gap between the rural people and Government with rural development. This Android application for farmers used for agriculture which provides the information about diseases in crops (spinach) for farmers, detection of leaf rot spots in spinach, and every detail will be just one click away, Farmers will get the all information about the disease of spinach (Leaf Rot Spots). News related to disease in spinach will be easily available. Farmers can directly use this app’s easy interface to solve their query without going to any third person i.e (Agri Kiosks). Detection of Spinach plant disease through some automatic technique is beneficial as it reduces a large work of monitoring in big farms of crops, and at very early stage itself it detects the symptoms of diseases Leaf rot spot. i.e. when they appear on plant leaves.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableTechnical Details of final delieverable are:
- Our Final Delievrable will be An Android Application which will run on Android device.
- End User will Simply Operate the Final Delieverable as their will be also a user Manual
- Interfaces will be easily to use.
- The Project will be work as their will be a home screen in which different buttons would be there i.e. (process, profile etc.)
- Process will have the camera and gallery button to take the input for the proecessing.
- After Processing the input the output would be shown that either the leaf is infected , defected or Healthy.
- Their would be also a profile option to maintain the profile of the user.
