The AR Based Mall Navigation App is a system dedicated for mall visitors to visit a particular destination within mall premises with less time and energy and It will also help the mall managers for better mall management.
The foremost and important objective of this system is to make an efficient app to enable the user to successfully navigate in a mall and enable mall administration to make mall management better.
• Through our app users can select a mall.
• See the shops located on every floor
• Search/Select a specific destination within that mall
• Then the app would open the rear camera and draw markers and arrows pointing towards their specified destination
• Once the user has arrived at the destination the app will relocate him/her to the current location to search for another destination
• Users can change the destination at any time
• If the user starts going away from the destination the app shall expand the markers and arrows and automatically optimize towards the shortest route
• This app enables users to successfully navigate in a mall
• Users can see shops located on every floor
• Users can search for a particular destination within a mall and the app will guide the users to their destination
• Also it will help the mall administration by better mall management
• This app will be cross-platform i.e: Android and iOS
• App will have two variants, Render and Create for Users and Admin respectively
• Render app will have all the created malls and their maps along with the AR navigation
• Create app will be used for creating and managing malls and destinations.
• App will be built in Unity using Vuforia (AR SDK)
• C# will be used as a Scripting language
• AR features like plane detection, feature points, SLAM, Anchor points will be used in this app
