ApkaCare is the digitalized system. This project point towards society’s common issue, i.e., medical records management. Everyday thousands of people visit hospitals for medical assistance and face lots of hurdles whether it is a file management, report management or laboratory tests management. They require all this data to get appropriate treatment and history of any medical condition is necessary to get medical aid. To solve this problem, we have come with an idea to develop an app that is capable of handling all these report management stuff in your palm. There are also other modules in this app such as online doctor consultation, first aid treatment locator and blood requirements. These all are combined to form a one place medical care of all of patients’ needs.
Project Objectives
- To create a platform that is efficient enough to assist a patient as well as the people involved in health care sector.
- To assist the health care system by introducing an application that can cater some of the issues faced by our medical industry such as medical laboratory (testing, charges, location) issues, and as well as the other the requiring blood issues.
- To maintain patients’ medical history by uploading their reports so that they can easily get whenever they need.
- To provide online doctor consultation and first aid treatments, so that people can tackle the situation before reaching the hospital.

The background of this project is that we point towards society’s common issue. Every third person in this society is suffering from either depression, anxiety, or any other personal trouble. These are not high priority illness but cannot be neglected. Therefore, we have come with an idea to counter these problems, not with medicines but with technology.
The users can create an account and verify it, users must be login to access the mobile app, user can upload their medical reports and it will be saved for future use. User can check the medical tests charges and also laboratory’s location. User also have an option of find the emergency treatment (First Aid). Users find their favorite doctors and can booked for consultation. if the user is doctor then firstly doctor will provide some prove of his/her degree and system will check it then doctor’s account will be activated. Doctor can schedule the meeting and set the time and date for online consultation. Doctor can update his/her details. At the time of meeting a link will be provided to doctor and the user. As well as doctor can manage their wallet. At the time of meeting doctor can see medical reports of patient. If anyone want blood either user or doctor the can send the request then everyone who have account, will received the notification and they will directly talk via WhatsApp or our portal.

We are working with agile approach. Things are in pipeline simultaneously. We as a team divided whole project into three parts. As the team lead working on back-end and API’s and Hamza is into front-end work, design side by side. Daniyal Khan is also keeps an eye on design and he’s more into documentation work. To keep things simple and smooth we are coordinating with each other and give each other the next task and milestone. Once we achieve it, we will into next one. The biggest advantage in this coordination is that things are working smoothly, and we are exactly doing as we planned.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
This system will be based on Mobile App and we use MERN technology, and this can be run on any devices. There are two types of users in this application.
User: Mainly users could be the patients so they can book the meeting, accept or donate the blood to other users. They find the laboratory and also able to see FirstAid treatments. Main thing is that user can upload their medical reports. Which is very important for everyone to make a record of his/her medical conditions.
Doctor: Doctor will manage all the dashboard, schedule the appointments, manage the video calls, chat with other patients and also manage his/her wallet.
