increased. The main cause for accidents is high speed, drunk and drive, diverting
minds, over stress and due to electronic gadgets. This paper deals with accident
detection system that occurs due to carelessness of the person who is driving the
vehicle. This introduces accident alerting system which alerts the person who is
driving the vehicle. If the person is not in a position to control the vehicle then the
accident occurs. Once the accident occurs to the vehicle this system will send
information to registered mobile number.The main purpose of our project
“AMBULATORY VEHICLE ALERT SYSTEM VIA SMS, GPS AND
ACCELEROMETER” is to automate the causes and effects of precrash sudden
accident in the traffic. main processing scenario is based on the detection of vehicles
on close compact cases, which will generate a request of braking setup with alarm
signal to notify the driver with fully controlled mechanism system also has tendency
to provide automated features of animal detection via ultrasonic sensors and many
other features, which will provide overall new trend of automated process with health
safety procedures in low tier cars for normal use in everyday life. The main focus of
this project is to initiate an automation process in which safety and precautionary
measures are being managed. The project provides safety results of human beings if
any uncertainty or accident occurs by providing proper SOS Alert with full
mechanized GPS Tracking and other automated processes which can be easily
incorporated in low tier cars as well.
Project ObjectivesAn accident happens at night or in areas where no individuals are heard in that
particular setting and victims are not saved at the right time.Many of them are losing
their lives because of this. This device solves the above problem by submitting data
directly after an accident to the emergency team. The main focus of this project isto
initiate an automation process in which safety and precautionary measure are being
managed.The project provide safety result of human being if any uncertainty or
accident occur by providing proper SOS Alert with full mechanized GPS Tracking
and other automated process which can be easily incorporated in low tier car as well.
The primary goal of the accident warning system is to savepeople in crashes.
This device helps the owner to observe andfind out vehicle activity and its past
vehicle movements, thelatest such as GPS are highly useful now-a-days. Over the
past decade, the use of auto mobiles has improvedlinearly, which increased the risk
of human life. This isbecause the emergency services are inadequate. We use analert
system in this paper that helps to strengthen theemergency system of the crash
system.This device senses the occurrence of the accident and thecoordinated accident
is reported to the emergency team. Inthe event of no causality, a switching
mechanism is used toshut off. Using the Accelerometer Sensor, an accident is
observed. The angle where the car rolled off is shown by a message. This application
aims to provide the weakemergency facilities with a suitable alternative.This
accident warning system identifies the accident and thelocation of the accident and
sends GPS coordinates to theSmart Phone, device, etc. listed in it
Project Implementation MethodProblemTo Be Solved:
One of the basic reasons for road accidents is speed. Road accidents are rising
suddenly today and are one of the key causes of human deaths. Human life is more
important than anything else, and timely assistance is more important than lending a
helping hand. If emergency services could get accident reports and reach it in time,
more lives could have been saved. In saving human lives, the time between the
accident and when the ambulance reaches the site of the accident plays an important
role. If we reduce the time between when an accident happens and when a medical
ambulance is dispatched to the area, we can save human lives by reducing mortality
rates. This device senses the occurrence of the accident and the coordinated accident

2.6 Methodology:
Our device is operated by giving internet connection through our Mobile because we
created a prototype Device. When the speed of the vehicle increases our device will
show alarming conditions for 40 sec. Also detect forward and backward collision.
With these conditions we are also placing a fire sensor which helps the driver to save
his life, and a temperature sensor to detect body temperature and tell the driver to be
careful while driving because he or she is in a fever. But if an accident occurs, an
accelerometer detects the changes in axis in all three axes(x, y, z) and GPS tracks the
location where the accident occurs and generates a sms and sends it to emergency
services.As the axes of the car are changing in x, y, z directions so, if the axis is
greater or less than 5 or - 5. Then it will beep and generates message after 15 sec
CONDITIONS:
? If the driver is increasing the speed of a car our device will generates message
but the alarm will not beep because we don't have a real car.
? When the car gets hit and then remain in that position for some time (2 sec)
then after 15sec it generates a message.
? We also place a flame sensor in our device that detects flame from a distance
of 1 cm in cars and if accident occurs or person is caught in fire then the
message will generate.
? There is an ultrasonic sensor which we place in front of our car, not necessary
we place in back too. Ultrasonic sensor is used to detect human, animal or
any hurdle that comes in range of 6 cm but in our project it will only beep but
not generate sms
Benefits of the ProjectThis device offers the most realistic alternative to the inadequate emergency services
given to victims of road accidents. With the aid of this technology, when an accident
happens, prompt action can be taken by alerting the appropriate individuals by
sending a message.

? Monitors all risks and hazards.
? To the nearest hospitals and police stations, warning notices are sent.
? It can be included in an affordable program. The warning message about the
accident is sent automatically.
It is possible to use this scheme for a social cause.This device senses the

Technical Details of Final DeliverableVehicle tracking both in case of personal as well as business purpose improves safety
and security, communication medium, performance monitoring and increases
productivity. So in the coming year, it is going to play a major role in our day-to-day
living. Main motto of the accident alert system project is to decrease the chances of
losing life in such accident which we can’t stop from occurring. Whenever accident
occurs the paramedics are alerted and reached to the particular location to increase
the chances of life. This device invention is much more useful for the accidents
occurred in deserted places and midnights. This vehicle tracking and accident alert
feature plays much more important role in day to day life in future.
