COVID-19 Symptoms can be experienced within 1 to 14 days from the day of infection. This virus may have a severe effect on the patients having diabetes, asthma, heart, and lungs problems such patient requires major attention and care.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used to identify this novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and also help us to forecast nature and spread around the globe. Our Proposed “AI-Powered Combat System” will be integrated with embedded systems e.g., Airports, Offices, Schools, Education Sector, Railway Stations and Public Places to ensure the detection, prediction and prevention of COVID-19 pandemic on the basis of statistical (fever, state/Province, running nose, body pain), epidemiological (X-rays, CT scans images) and real-time surveillance data (surveillance cameras). Proposed Combat System will provide facemask detection and social distance measuring feature for safety purposes due to the outbreak of Covid-19. In the present scenario of Covid-19, there is no efficient face mask and social distancing detection applications which are now in high demand for transportation means, densely populated areas, residential districts, large-scale manufacturers and other enterprises to ensure safety. Combat System will also incorporate chest X-rays and CT scans images to predict whether the patient is affected with COVID-19 or not. Combat system will helpful for the medical staff to make decisions with high precision and saves lot of diagnosing time. Proposed Combat System will provide Intelligent Chatbot which provides health queries specific to covid-19 pandemic, consequently It will save the time of medical professionals spending on answering questions. AI-Powered Combat system based on statistical data will give the idea about the level of spread, and in accordance to that, the government and the citizens can make proper plans to handle the situation by taking measures to minimize the virus spread by various mitigation and other necessary actions.
Project Objectives- Our Proposed AI-Power Combat system will give the expert advice about the level of spread, and in accordance to that, the government and the citizens can make proper plans to handle the situation by taking necessary measures to minimize the virus spread.
- Proposed Combat System will be based on the symptoms (fever, state/Province, running nose, body pain), it will predict the probability that Patient is affected with COVID-19 Positive or Negative.
- Proposed Combat System will also incorporate Chest X-rays and CT scans images to predict whether the patient is affected with COVID-19 or not this combat system will helpful for the medical staff to make decisions with high precision and saves lot of diagnosing time.
- Proposed Combat System will provide Intelligent Chatbot which provides health queries specific to COVID-19 pandemic, consequently It will save the time of medical professionals spending on answering questions.

Facemask detection and social distance measuring module of Combat System will detect the human object based on state-of-the-art YOLO real time object detection weights. Yolo weights are implemented using Python OpenCV and TensorFlow. Object detection weights and their centroid will be incorporated in proposed Combat System for social distance and face mask detection to identify violations in crowd. Proposed feature of Combat system will be trained on benchmark surveillance datasets by utilizing Local system GPU and Google Colab.
COVID-19 diagnostic module will be implement using deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, TensorFlow Keras, OpenCV) on Epidemiological benchmark datasets. Proposed Deep learning model of Combat System will be train on CT scan and Chest X-ray Images. Data Preprocessing and feature engineering will be done with OpenCV and Python data processing libs.
Intelligent chatbot will answers the queries of the patient specific to corona virus. Natural language Processing model will be embedded in intelligent chatbot to get expert advice related to COVID-19 pandemic which will overcome the shortage of medical Professionals and resources.
COVID-19 Probability will be predicted on the basis of statistical data (fever, Running nose, body pain, etc.). Statistical data will be collected from healthdata.gov and Kaggle for model training. Number of confirmed cases will also be predicted on the basis of the historical data collected from WHO, Heatlhdata.gov, Johns Hopkins University. Real time number of cases are extracted from different APIs using python web scraping library like beautiful soup. Real time statistical data and prediction will be compared and visualize using matplotlib and seaborn to provide interactive Dashboard of Combat System.
GUI for user interaction will be developed using Django/Flask. HTML, CSS3 and bootstrap, and JavaScript will be used for front-end interactive user interface.
Benefits of the Project- The Proposed Combat System will be employed in real-time applications which require face-mask and social distance detection for safety purposes due to the outbreak of COVID-19. This Combat System can be integrated with embedded systems for application in Offices, Schools, Airports, Railway Stations, and Public Places to ensure that public safety guidelines are being followed or not.
- Combat System will give the idea about the level of spread, and in accordance to that, the government and the citizens can make proper plans to handle the situation by taking precautionary measures to minimize the virus spread.
- Not every patient needs to visit the hospitals this Combat System based on the Statistical and Epidemiological data will predict the Probability of COVID-19 pandemic, it will save the medical resources in this crisis.
- Due to limited number of COVID-19 Professionals, Chatbot of Combat System will provide users with expert advice on corona virus. Chatbot will save the time of medical professionals spending on answering questions.
- Proposed Combat System will also incorporate chest X-rays and CT scans images to predict whether the patient is affected with COVID-19 or Not. This combat system will helpful for the medical staff to make decisions with high precision and saves lot of diagnosing time.

Final deliverable will be AI Powered Web based Combat System against COVID-19. Proposed Combat System will deliver Facemask detection, social distance measuring, Intelligent chatbot to overcome the shortage of medical resources, corona virus diagnosis (using CT scans & X-rays), Probability Prediction of COVID-19 based on Symptoms (Fever, Region, running nose, Travel History, body pain, etc.) and Interactive Dashboard for Predicting Number of confirmed and active case for different regions.
Facemask detection and social distance measuring web-based system can integrate with any embedded system to monitor and examining the violations of Social distance and face mask guidelines. Intelligent chatbot will answers the queries of the patient specific to corona virus. Natural language Processing model will be embedded in intelligent chatbot to get expert advice related to COVID-19 pandemic which will overcome the shortage of medical Professionals and resources. Combat system can also be used for diagnosing COVID-19 using CT scan images and Chest X-rays with high precision which will enhance the medical professionals’ capabilities. User or medical professional can upload the images of CT scans or Chest X-rays after some computations model return whether patient is COVID-19 Positive or Negative, it will also show the Probability and accuracy. Web based combat system have module for predicting probability of COVID-19 based on statistical data (fever, running nose, body pain). Computations are applied on user filled form to predict the probability. AI-Powered Combat system will deliver interactive Dashboard which will compare and visualize real time statistical data using matplotlib and seaborn to provide Combat System for different regions of the world.
