Pakistan is agricultural country and its economic sustainability is highly associated with the growth of agriculture sector. However, Pakistan is a densely populated country and with the passage of time area for agricultural land is shrinking. On the hand the demand for vegetables and fruits is rising exponentially to meet the nutritional requirements for such large ensemble of population. In order to cope with the rising demands of vegetables and fruits it is necessary to adopt modern farming techniques for high yield production. Farm automation is one of the modern farming techniques that provides controlled environment for high-yield crops in relatively. However, the lack of technical skills and inability to maintain pest free crop in farms results in significant loss in crop yield. Therefore, there is a rising demand of highly accurate system that will spray only the weeds for the desired production goals and using less amount of spray as compared to traditional methods. In this project we will design a solar-powered agricultural robot (AgriBot) that will automate the spraying in farms. The AgriBot will facilitate the farmers in many aspects i.e. seeding, fertilizing and pest control.
The main objective of the proposed project is to build a precise system which will differentaite between the weeds and the crop and will detect the weeds for a specific crop and spray pesticide where there is weed detected. The project objectives are divided into two phases, Software part an dthe Hardware part.
Software Part:
In the software part the objective is to build a system capable of taking runtime video of a specific crop/land and to process it and detect the weeds frame by frame.
Hardware Part:
In the Hardware part the objectve is to build a robot operable in muddy terrains i.e fields/crops.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:
The project Implementation is also divided into two categories the software part and the hardware part.

After all these steps are complete then the turn is to assembe the AGRIBOT which includes completing the connections and the testing of the AGRIBOT.
BENIFITS OF THE PROJECT:
The final Deliverable will be a solar as well as battery operated robot capable of opearting in muddy terrains. It will also differentiate between specific crop and the weeds and also spray pesticides on weeds.
