Project Summary

Banking becomes easier, with the support of ATM but the chances of fraud are on rampant (Chance of increase frauds). There has been countless number of mishaps and misrepresentations which usually occurs in banking transactions. Thus, there is a dire need for development of such system which would serve to protect the consumers from fraud and other breaches of security. For this purpose we implement facial recognition system with most suitable algorithm for face detection and recognition in image processing to build a system that will detect and recognize frontal faces of person. For this uses Open Source Computer Vision Library (OpenCV) with Python language to interact and get the output of camera. It may be a webcam or any other external camera. We use this to get the video input to our system. We then use the video data to manipulate (to control something or someone to control to your advantage) and recognize faces in real time. Face Recognition System is use for verification process and enhancing the security in the banking region.

Project Implementation Method

In the hardware implementation it contains raspberry pi, PC, camera and LCD.  For detecting and reorganization of the frontal face, we are using camera.
