A Novel Multi Motor Controller with Wired and Wireless Monitoring and Control
The purposse of this project is to design and fabricate a smart and effective Multi motor controller that can control most of the Industrial motors (like sinlge phase induction motor,three phase induction motor,DC motor and BLDC motor etc) by a sinlge device.Keeping in mind the safety factors we also implement all necessary electrical protection within the device.To control the different parameters of the motor we introduce the selection criteria for the user so that the user can select the type of the motor and insert the required parameter according to the application.For this we also interface wired communication through CAN protocol which is the standard and robust protocol all over the world and wireless communication using a WI-FI module ESP-8266 which will help the user to control the motors remotely.The output parameters of the motors such as speed, current and power consumption are compiled and are available for the operator as real time monitoring and feedback. These parameters may be accessed either over the wired CAN Protocol or wireless over an online server.All of this controlling is done by STMF303 microcontroller which is the fastest controller and having soo many faetures.
Our primary objective was to design and fabricate a single device that can control most types of Industrial motors and provide the maximum Electrical protection for the ease and safety of the user. Also our this aim make this device cost efficient as well which surely retain a positive impact on he industrialist.As we also implement wired and wireless communication protocols which enables the user to control the motors remotely which in turn becomes another important feature and help industrialist to enter in the world of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Actually the method is so simple. Initailly the first block consist of AC to DC section in which we use simple rectifier with some line filters. After that we boost that DC voltages upto our requirement to make a DC bus. Thiss DC bus is the input of the output section which is basically a simple three phase bridge provided boot strap circuit. This is our main circuit in which we are controlling gates of MOSFETS to control different types of motors by providing different algorithems according to the motor through STMF303 microcontroller which has soo many features over other controller.

As we know different motors required different techniques to control. For example an AC motor required a frequency control or voltage control technique. simialrly a DC motor required a PWM technique to control a Dc motor. So when controlling a DC motor we just switch off the last arm of the three phase bridge and by first two arms of three phase bridge we are controlling a DC motor by providing a required algorithem from STMF303 microccontroller on the diagonal switches or MOSFETS.Similarly for single phase AC induction motor we are using an SPWM technique to control a motor. for three phasse AC induction motor all three arms of three phase bridge are used to control the required motor.
